COAST TXM55R – Industrial Headlamp with Area Light, RED, and up to 1500 Lumens

The TXM55R is the flagship model of COAST’s industrial TXM series – designed for demanding work environments where precision and reliability are non-negotiable. Its rugged aluminum construction, magnetic base, adjustable lamp head, and powerful performance in all lighting conditions make it the perfect choice for scaffolding, tunnels, technical pits, night installations, and everything in between.

The patented Pure Beam® optic system with Twist Focus™ delivers a wide and adjustable beam – from Ultra View Flood to BULLS-EYE™ Spot – controlled directly from the lamp without disruptive click steps.

The TXM55R features a total of 8 lighting modes, including Low, Medium, Turbo Mode, long-lasting Moon Glow, Area Light (High/Low), and RED. Turbo Mode provides a short-term boost, giving full power for up to 40 seconds. Quick-Cycle™ allows fast switching between modes with one hand.

The side-mounted Area Light provides additional work illumination with CRI90 light, which renders colors accurately and spreads light evenly – ideal for close-up work. The Area Light can be activated independently and offers both high and low brightness levels.

Additionally, the TXM55R includes a red light function (RED Area), making it especially suitable for inspection tasks, document checks, and use in dark environments where a low-profile light is important.

The angular lamp head uses a Snap-in/Snap-out system and can tilt forward, detach, and be used as a handheld light. The TXM55R comes with both a reflective Ultra-Strap™ headband and a helmet mount with adhesive pad, allowing flexible choice between headband or direct helmet attachment. A pocket clip is also included for quick attachment and removal to pockets or vests.

The lamp is part of COAST’s Rechargeable Plus series and operates with the included ZX850 ZITHION-X™ battery, with an optional backup using 2 × CR123 lithium batteries. Charging is via USB-C through the built-in Pro-Tek™ port, and the LED indicator keeps you informed of battery status. IP54 protection and ANSI FL1-standard tests ensure the lamp withstands dust, water, and harsh conditions.
